3 Cool Dorm Plants [Hack College]

It’s always nice to have a few plants around your room to keep the air fresh and have a more relaxing atmosphere.  Here are a few plants that are mostly easy to take care of and require only some light.

1)  Bamboo Sticks – I have a some of these on my desk and they make my work place stylish.  All you need is a vase,

some rocks, and water and you’re good to go.  I got my Bamboo from a local home goods store for $5, so they are very afordable.  Here’s a tutorial on how to care for the bamboo .

2) Another great one to have around is a aloe vera plant.  They don’t require much water or light and they are great to have around when you have a rash, sunburn, or even a cut.  Here is a turorial on how to care for one of these guys.

3) Getting a bit more advanced you could pick up a venus fly trap.  You have to take care of these guys a bit more than the others, especially if there are no bugs to feed it, but seeing it grab something is pretty stellar. For help with these check out,  How to care for a venus fly trap .
