Organize Your Class Schedule [Hack College]

sneak3_enIt’s coming to that time where you’re receiving your final schedules for the semester and it’s necessary to make up a physical or mental chart depending on how risky you are.  I always created spreadsheet with all my classes broken up into hour blocks until I met my new best friend, Google Calendar .  By adding your schedule to Google, you not only can access it from anywhere, you can schedule things around your classes with ease.  With multiple views you can see your daily schedule or what’s down the line.

Another great way to utilize the calander is to create a seperate one that holds all your due dates for projects, tests, etc.  This way you can even have Google send you notifications that will remind you that you should start writing your paper thats due in two days.

You can create a calender in a few easy steps:

  1. Get a Google Account if you don’t already have one.
  2. Go to Google Calendar .
  3. On the left-hand side under the calendars module click ‘create new’.
  4. Select the options you want and name it accordingly.
  5. Add your classes by creating a new event.

Depending on when your classes are scheduled you can add a repeater so that it automatically adds a your class every Tuesday for the next three months if you wanted to.
