The College Kid Facebook Drinking Game!

Okay, I know College Kid Matt did a post yesterday on how to quit Facebook and this may seem a little counter productive, but first hear us out! This can be a better way to get your Facebook high with out being creepy or antisocial. Try and think of it almost as a nicotine patch for all those trying to quit the Facebook addiction. So without further adieu, I give you the College Kid Facebook Drinking Game!

The game is real simple. You must go on a friends Facebook (or yours) and follow these rules:

1. If they have had any kind of activity today: everyone drinks once

2. If they have written on someones wall today: everyone drinks once for each wall post

3. Every player that has done graffiti on the persons profile: drink once

4. If they have applications: everyone drinks once for each

5. If they are the only one in their profile picture: everyone drinks once
-If they are with other people: everyone drinks twice
-If their picture is of another person: everyone drinks four times (six if it is a picture of a celebrity)

6.If they have movie quotes: everyone drinks once for each

7.If they have between 1 and 10 top friends: everyone drinks once
-11 to 20 top friends: everyone drinks twice
-21 or more top friends: everyone drinks three times
-zero top friends: everyone drinks four times

8. If they are in a group thats title starts with a number: everyone drinks once for each group

9. If the person list their cell phone: that person drinks twice

10. If their total number of post is an even number: everyone drinks twice

11. Every player that has written on the last 10 wall post: drink for every post they wrote

If you have any other ideas for the perfect Facebook drinking game, let us know in the comments.

Cheers!

*NOTE - You probably want to drink beer during this game, just throwing that out there.

Creative Glow Stick Photography

Today we're going to show you how to get creative with your camera (or your parent's) using glow sticks. I got this idea from watching the Poi jugglers in Boston Commons one afternoon.

What you need:

-A Tripod or the self-timer feature on any camera
-Some glow sticks (you can find these at the local Convince store or Dollar Store)
-Ceiling fan (optional)

To get started, open up those glow sticks and crack them so they give off some light. Attach the string that usually comes with them, and if not, use some kite string or something.

Now what you will want to do is setup your camera so it will know your taking pictures in the dark, you don't want to use flash. On some cameras you can find Night Mode or something similar to that. That will give you a high ISO which will increase the sensitivity to the light, and give you a slower shutter speed. If you have a more expensive camera like a SLR you can probably change the ISO to your liking and the shutter speed as well. Next, setup your tripod wherever your heart desires, (or familiarize yourself with the self-timer feature) kill the lights, and go to it.

If you don't have the ability to change your shutter speed, you still can take some great pictures in the 5 or so seconds you have in Night Mode. If you are able to change the shutter speed though you have the option to create crazy designs that you wouldn't normally be able to achieve. The key thing in this project is to experiment. Spin the glow sticks in circles, or figure-eights. Adjust the shutter speed up and down. How about attaching some of them to your ceiling fan! This allows you to have a constant speed so you get perfect circles, cones, and corkscrews. Play with the speed on the fan and see what happens to the designs then.

Inspiration:

Use your ceiling fan.

Change the speed up and down.

Experiment with light in the room, and put yourself in the picture.

Write your name!

Draw stuff.

The possibilities are endless.

Throw a Sinker in Wiffleball

College Kids,

How do you throw a Sinker in Wiffleball?

Keenan
Tyngsboro, MA

Keenan,

Hold it the way you would as instructed in the video provided here. You want to throw it at an over the top arm angle and throw it the speed you would throw a fastball. Make sure you throw with your arm coming across your body as you follow through on the pitch.

Hope this helps,

Free Drinks at the Bar

College Kids,

What's a cool trick that can get me some free drinks at the bar?

Ethan
21 years old
Buffalo, NY

Ethan,

Here is a great trick that will blow peoples minds. Make sure you do it just like it's shown here.

Now you may be asking how is this going to get me free drinks? Well, bet someone a beer that you can have a shot of water and a shot of whiskey change places withough using your mouth. They will agree to your bet, and you just gained a beer. In case you were wondering, the reason it work is because whiskey is lighter than water, thus they change places.

Hope this is able to get you crunk one night. Cheers!
