So as a Patriots fan I have been going through a bit of a tough period for the past week or so. The Super Bowl loss was devastating and it will be a game I’ll never forget. I can remember the anticipation of the game, the excitement of possibly going 19-0 and showing everyone that doubted them and wanted them to lose, that the Pats were truly the best.

Super Bowl Drinking Game
Okay, so maybe your favorite Football team didn't do so good this season. Don't worry. Cheer up! The College Kids have got you covered with the Super Bowl Drinking Game. Here, is how it works:
Each player must pick a team that they are supporting and stick with them the whole game (if you are from New York or Boston this will be real easy). You must drink when any of the following happens:

Super Bowl 42
First and foremost, I am a New York Giants Fan. Now that’s out of the way, lets get down to business. Super Bowl 42 is teaming up to be one for the record books. The Patriots are undefeated, that we know, but whether or not that will lead to the record books on Feb 3 is still unknown. Apart from the plethora of other records the Patriots crushed this season, the most important one is not going to be easy.
The Giants come off an impressive post-season, with the likes of Eli’s brilliant form, Jacob’s mac truck momentum, and the sticky icky fingertips of Plaxico Burris. Eli, playing some of the best football of this career, began this impressive stint during the regular season battle when the Giant’s tested the Patriots regular season record. The Patriots managed to walk away from that game with some great playing of their own, but won only by a margin of 3 points. That small margin gave the Giants a much needed boost of morale for the team heading into the post-season and the super bowl.
From Eli’s 0-2 performance in the post-season before 2007, his 3 wins, 4 td’s, and 0 interceptions this year show he may be maturing into a great post-season quarterback. The question is whether pressure from the Patriots will cause Eli to break and end his dream post-season. All us Giants fans have gotten used to an oh so regular [Sigh] which has plagued us for so many seasons with Eli at the helm. So much have we gotten used to great games, games that are vital to our success in the post-season (and regular season), and so many times have we gotten held back because of his lack of experience, his “lobbing” of every throw, or that look. Eli’s look. His face only knows one expression, that of a coward. You can see it when he throws an incompletion, or does anything wrong. He knows come Sunday, if they are to have a chance at the trophy, he is going to have to shake the cobwebs off and play perfect football.
So then what about the Super bowl? Most New Englanders could have told you halfway through the season the trophy was already being raised by Belichick and CO. Will this happen? Most likely. Will the Giants put up a good fight? Definitely. Once again, the fate of the Giants rests on the shoulders of an adolescent boy, one who is still fighting his own fate as a quarterback for his career. We know the Giants have good defense, a great one actually, one that put Brady on his ass quite a few times during the regular season. But if we can’t put numbers up against the highest scoring team in the NFL, pack your bags Giants fans, the wars over.
So for all you Giants fans out there, I raise my glass with you in the hopes that the Giants win the super bowl. It took a decent regular season coupled with two great post-season wins against the Cowboys and the Packers to get here. Now all you have left between us and the ring stands Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Teddy Bruschi, Lawrence Maroney, Ellis Hobbs, Mike Vrabel, Rodney Harrison….you get the hint. Good luck boys you’re going to need it.

A Dangerous New Sport
There has been news recently of a new "Street" sport where you grab on to a train and hold on for your dear life. This adrenaline pumping actiity is called train surfing. You can only guess what happens to many people with they hang from a moving train.
There is actually a site on train surfing where you can watch videos, read stories, and look at pictures of "Train Surfers".

How to get into a Red Sox Game

College Kids,
I have never been to a Red Sox game and it is impossible to find tickets. How can I get into a Red Sox game?
Chris
17 years old
Manchester, NH
Chris,
Red Sox tickets are expensive and extremely popular so they're really tough to get through the Red Sox. However, there are a few different ways you can get to a game without shelling out too much money. Here is the order you should go in to find Sox tickets.
1. Check out the RedSox.com
Tickets here are somewhat expensive but you can often find several seats together for much less than what you would pay for at a ticketing agency. A tip from the College Kids, avoid outfield grandstand.
2. Check craigslist
Just search craigslist and you will find a lot of tickets people are trying to get rid of. A lot of them are good seats because they are seat's season ticket holders cannot use. Look around and you can find some good deals. Just remember to be careful to make sure you are not getting ripped off.
3. Ticketing Agencies
This is your last choice and you should only use it if you are desperate for a couple good seats for an upcoming game and you don't want to scalp tickets or wait in line. They are expensive. One well known ticketing agency is StubHub.
4. Game Day Tickets
The preferred way for the College Kids to go to Sox games, a few hundred tickets are sold at face value at Gate E before every Sox game. You are allowed to line up 5 hours before game time and we recommend you get there 3 hours before (depending on the game). Some good deals include standing room (if you're with one or two people you can find some empty seats) for $20, or bleachers for $12 or $23. To get to Gate E walk towards the park from the Kenmore green line station and take a left at the Cask 'n Flagon onto Lansdowne Street. It will be on your right under the Green Monster.
5. Scalpers
Your last choice is to buy from scalpers. (Hint: If a guy is holding a sign that says "Need Tickets," he's a scalper). It is a good idea to wait until right before game time or during the first couple innings as this is when you will get the cheapest tickets. If you are going with a bunch of friends a good strategy is to buy cheap seats that are not together, they'll be cheaper, and use standing room. Just remember, scalping is illegal.
Cheers,

Throw a Sinker in Wiffleball
College Kids,
How do you throw a Sinker in Wiffleball?
Keenan
Tyngsboro, MA
Keenan,
Hold it the way you would as instructed in the video provided here. You want to throw it at an over the top arm angle and throw it the speed you would throw a fastball. Make sure you throw with your arm coming across your body as you follow through on the pitch.
Hope this helps,
The College Kids

Wiffle Ball Pitches
College Kids,
Summer is here and wiffle ball leagues are starting up. How can I guarantee victory for my team?
Chris
21 years old
Redding, CA
Wiffle ball is easily one of my favorite parts of summer. What could possibly be better than some Corona, your buddies, and a game on the beach? As the 2007 Yankees have shown us, no team can survive without good pitching.
If you can throw a variety of pitches to keep the other team guessing, you will dominate. There are basically six different pitches that you can throw. If you're able to learn three of them, you should be all set. Check out the site below for a guide on how to throw the most important and devastating pitches the game has to offer.

Good luck, and have fun!
