So yesterday I was on abc.com checking out show times and I noticed that they are now streaming Lost and Grey's Anatomy in HD. I decided to try it out and it actually worked very well. I watched a first season episode of Lost and it loaded in no time and it looked just as good, if not better than the DVD version.
Because it is ABC's website there are still advertisement during the shows, but the episode I watched had only three 30 second ads. That is a lot better than regular T.V. My only real upset was that even in full screen mode you still see the top bar of your browser and your task bar.
As far as internet connection, my Comcast apartment connection is pretty fast (although its no screamer). I suppose those with slower school connections may have trouble, but you might be surprised how well it runs.
You can check it out here.
Cheers!

LOST Returns!
For all you lost fans out there (including myself) I am happy to say that the wait is almost over! Season 4 will be airing on January 31st!
There is just one problem. That damn writers strike.
Fortunately, they have already filmed eight of the sixteen episodes for season 4, but time is running out. Lets hope that this season of Lost does not become victim of the strike like The Office was (or like every other T.V. show for that matter). If the strike ends soon, they should be able to keep the show running on time.
All I can say is studios, just PAY THE WRITERS ALREADY! We need some good T.V.
For now here is the season four trailer:
*SPOILER ALERT: IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED SEASON THREE, DO NOT WATCH!
You can also check out lost webisodes at abc.com. These are small scenes and flashbacks that provide some new information about the characters.
Cheers!

Watch TV Sitcoms
Recently one of our favorite websites, TV Links(tv-links.co.uk), got shut down by the British government. In the search for a replacement online television site, I found WatchTVSitcoms.com. This site has a good selection of shows and decent quality. TV Sitcoms is more reliable than many others, but I am keeping my eyes out for new media sites that might pop up.
Let us know if you have any other recommendations.
Also, for all you South Park fans, check out www.allsp.com, it is the single greatest thing ever.
Cheers!

Top 4 Most Anticipated Returning Shows
The new TV season is upon us and here are our most anticipated returning shows:
The Office
Season Premiere: September 27th
The best comedy on TV is back for its fourth season. Will Jim and Pam get back together? Will Jan have a nervous breakdown? We will hopefully find out soon. Lets just say the College Kids and I are pretty pumped for this new season.
Lost
Season Premiere: Winter 08'
The show that never lets go is back for season four. Now that they have set an end date for the show we hope they will cut out the unnecessary plot extras and get straight to the story. We just can not wait to see Locke kill Ben... or should I say Benry?
Scrubs
Season Premiere: TBA
Scrubs is returning for its seventh and final season and we are certainly going to miss it. On the good side, JD and Elliot did possibly hook up at the end of season six. Lets just hope it last.
Heroes
Series Premier: September 24th
Heroes was arguably the best new show of last season. It had a great plot and great characters. Some people did not like how the finale turned out, but we are still excited for season two.

Places To Watch TV Online
College Kids,
Do you know of any good sites to watch TV online?
Seth
20 Years Old
Heatherbrook, AZ
Seth,
There are many of sites out there but there are three really good ones that we think you will like:
TV Links - TV Links is our favorite and most recommended. It has a great selection of American TV shows and movies. They usually load fast and are decent quality.
Peekvid - Peekvid comes in a close second. It too has a great selection of shows and movies. Quality and reliability can vary depending on which site they link off of.
Channel Chooser - Channel Chooser is the smoothest of all the sites. Unfortunately its selection is very different than the other two sites. Of course, If you are looking for something different this is the site to be at.
Cheers!

LOST: The Video Game....? WTF
Okay, I know how I posted something about LOST yesterday, but I found this to be way too bizarre to go without telling you.
Ubisoft and ABC Studios have teamed up and created a LOST video game. I'm not sure what you could possibly do in this game except maybe strategy type stuff...
The thing on my mind is how does the game end? If the audience who watches LOST doesn't even know the ending to the frickin' show, how does it come to a conclusion!
Anyways, you be the judge and check out the trailer for the game here.

MTV Shows You HATE, But Watch Anyways

Does anybody remember the good times when MTV actually played music; I do. That memory is very blurry though, which is very saddening. Today, MTV is made up of reality TV, something we all have seen. The shows on MTV though are SO crappy, but for some god damn reason we all end up watching them. Here is a list of those god awful shows that pull us in when we're flippin' threw the channels.
This beauty seems to be number one amongst the college kids. My Super Sweet 16 pulls us in with it's bitchy and spoiled kids that just make us mad. We see these kids and we can't help but say, "Unbelievable". Every episode is the same, but everyone time you come across it, it stays on your tube till the end.
Next ALWAYS has us waiting till the end to see which of the five contestants will be picked by the dater. You just sit there waiting for the person to yell, "NEXT"! Sometimes it comes in less than a minute, but others can last a few hours. It's not so much the people dating, but what the people say in the Next bus that makes us laugh. When there is females on the bus, I can't help but notice that someone always ends up making out with each other or they compare breast sizes.
Parental Control is one of MTVs newer reality shows. This one out
of all of them seems the most staged. Okay, so your parents hate your bf/gf so much they are willing to go on National Television and humiliate themselves and their daughter or son. I'll be honest I have watched quite a few episodes of this show and I can't help but notice that pretty much everytime they stick with their original boyfriend/girlfriend. Thanks MTV for wasting my frickin' time.
One show that I happen to like and is somewhat well done is True Life. This program actually has decent content and keeps my interest, and I actually look forward to new episodes. One of my all time favorite episodes is I Have Timeshare. It features a dude who gets in several fights over Cheeseballs, could you possibly ask for anything more hilarious.

Watch Free TV Online
College Kids,
I don't have a TV in my room, but I do have a computer. Is there anyway to watch TV on my computer?
Sam
18 years old
Nebraska
Sam,
There are multiple ways to watch TV on your computer. I will let you know of two of them. You can get a TV Tuner for your computer, but that requires you to have a cable jack somewhere close to you. Other wise you can find websites that allow you to watch live TV and also shows on demand.....for free!
Here is a website that is a lifesaver to us College Kids:
33 Ways to Watch Free TV Online
Enjoy!

Tommy Chong on Colbert Report
The other night the college kids got together to work on some filming for an upcoming film for you guys. We sat down to take a break and caught the Colbert Report on Comedy Central.
We were pleased to see that Colbert did coverage on Paris Hilton and being in Jail. First of all, why is MSNBC interviewing Tommy Chong about Paris Hilton. Don't get me wrong, Tommy Chong is the man, and I still watch is classic film, Up In Smoke, but why would he know anything about Paris Hilton.
To make Colbert even better, they had Tommy Chong on Colbert via satellite. Please enjoy his wonderful interview with Colbert.
Cheers,

I Need Money...
College Kids,
I need money. I'm thinking about counterfeiting some. Got any ideas?

Jimbo,
Print out as many of these as possible.
This will only make sense if you watch The Office, and if you don't, you should.
Good Luck!
